Our Thanksgiving Weekend

Ron's parents came into town Wednesday and spent the whole weekend with us.

Of course I had to work, but thats good cause I have Christmas and Christmas Eve off.
And it was also good because Granny and Pa-pa got to spend a lot of one-on-one time with the Boo-man.

Also new with the Boo, he has been walking a couple of steps here and there, but as soon as Ron's parents showed up he started taking off. Now he walks all over the place. Same thing happened to our niece Jannessa on her first birthday, I don't know what it is about those folks but kids seem to start walking when they come near.

Another thing: He climbs?! ON EVERYTHING!

He has my double chin

This is the Boo-man in action. Loosing his diaper while he's doing it.

Sick lil Boo

My Boo is sick for the first time. He has had a fever for a few days but never over 100. And he's been fussy and had diarrhea, so we figured he was cutting another tooth. But when his temp was 103 axillary (under his arm) I called the Dr. She did her full assessment and checked his ears. She said he had a slight ear infection, about a 3 out of 10. She wasn't sure if he had anything else along with the ear infection to make his temp so high, but she started him on Amoxicillin. Good ole pink stuff! She actually couldn't believe he had never been sick before (he gets that from me, I am never sick)

Once his fever gets down he acts normal but you can tell when the ibuprofen wears off because he starts sleeping. And he's been sleeping A LOT! Which is unusual, because he is so busy all the time. He has lots to do and he never wastes time.

We also checked his weight again. 17.4 lbs, gained a whole pound since last visit! Whoo hoo! He's been off the boob for about 3 weeks now, and loves his formula. He eats a lot too, and poops constantly. She seems to not be worried about his weight anymore, which is a good thing.

Evan's first Halloween

I had to work Halloween but when I came home Ron had E dressed up already. Evan couldn't really eat candy but we at least wanted a picture. So we walked across the street to our neighbors house to get our video. I will post the video we got later. Isn't he the cutest lion ever? We got this outfit last year (when I was pregnant) at Target when they had the after Halloween clearance sale.

What you doing Halloween Sunday?

Cause apparently my lil boo-man will be on TV.

That's right, Sunday around 6 pm Evan  will be on America's Funniest Home Videos. And me too I guess. I am the one holding Evan in the video. I am not thrilled that I will be on national TV but I'm glad I will finally get to show someone our video. We had to sign a a contract that  that we wouldn't show anyone or post it online. So come Sunday the cat will finally be outta the bag!

So If you are reading this watch AFV Sunday!

Fourty-three Week Photo

I am back on a footy pajama kick again.

I'm sorry but footy pajamas are the bestest most cutest piece of clothing ever invented, ever. Is it footy or footie? Oh well. And I am so glad the weather has been changing so he can start wearing them again.

I especially love the pajamas that have little characters on the feet.

Btw, He loves this rocking horse. He laughs like crazy every time he gets on it.

This is whats happening at my house.....

See this lovely couple? They are a wedding cake topper that Ron got me for our anniversary this year. But here's what is happening to this couple. Ron has been hiding them all over our house. At first they were in very obvious places. Like I would turn on the lights as I would be walking into the living room, and they would be sitting on top of my TV or fireplace. Then they would show up in my car or I'd get to work and they would be in my purse. Now the game has extended to my sister, neice, and nephew. So now we all take turns hiding them from each other. I don't know it's kinda fun, and on some days brings a smile when you least expect it. Thanks Ron for being you.
